Our Story

Low Speed Chase is a Los Angeles-based rock band fronted by Dean Cameron—actor, writer, director, on a mission to rock without imitating pop icons. An invitation from Andy Z at Institute of Noise to "record a tune or two.." has evolved into a full-fledged musical mission. Low Speed Chase's sound draws from an eclectic well: the hook-driven power pop of Fountains of Wayne, the harmonic complexity of King's X, the gritty soul of Stone Temple Pilots, and the piano-driven theatrics of Ben Folds. And Zeppelin. Always, always Zeppelin.

Dean Cameron

Best known as "that guy" in front of the camera for his roles in movies like "Summer School" and "Ski School," and every other TV show or movie you've ever seen, Dean has flown under the radar as a songwriter and musician. Penning songs for artists exactly like Brett Walker, Six Angry Feet, and Steel Panther as well as soundtrack placements for film & television. The driving force behind Low Speed Chase, he writes, sings, and holds down the low end.

"The Quiet One." Silent but deadly... no... wait. Bad description. Danny is the backbone of the band live and on the recordings of Surgeons and upcoming release: Follow You Follow Me. Because Danny is cooler than everyone, he has NO social media. Hero.
